Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Hilton Head Christian Academy's Winning Streak

After flying high against Palmetto Christian Academy last Thursday, Hilton Head Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Hilton Head Island Seahawks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Hilton Head Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Chaz Brigstock, who's now up to 16 this season.

The defeat snapped Hilton Head Christian Academy's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-4 record. As for Hilton Head Island, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilton Head Christian Academy will head out to square off against Patrick Henry Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilton Head Island, they will face off against Bluffton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
