Volleyball Recap: Westlake Beats Bingham for Their Fourth Straight Win

Westlake lost to Bingham back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Westlake Thunder didn't even let the Bingham Miners on the board, marking the Westlake Thunder's second-straight 2-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on four straight.

Kilika Tafa paced Westlake's offense, picking up eight kills. Tafa got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his 23 assists. Finally, Cundiff was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Westlake's record is now 4-0. As for Bingham, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Westlake has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against American Fork on the 8th. As for Bingham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mountain Ridge on the 8th.
