Recap: Warren vs. Aquin Catholic

Aquin Catholic won the last time they faced Warren, and things went their way on Friday, too. Aquin Catholic were fully in charge, breezing past Warren 43-6. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Aquin Catholic had established a 29-6 advantage.

Junior Ethan Yount, who rushed for 226 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. Sophomore William Gustafson was in the mix, too, providing Aquin Catholic with 2 touchdowns. The contest pushed Warren down to 0-2 and pulled Aquin Catholic up to the reverse 2-0.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Aquin Catholic will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Ashton-Franklin Center at Aquin High School at 5:30 PM. As for Warren, they will face off against Orangeville.
