Mira Costa is a perfect 5-0 against San Clemente since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Mira Costa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Mira Costa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Beckman 3-0.

Mira Costa never let Beckman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 28-26, 25-18.

Meanwhile, San Clemente faced Corona del Mar in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tritons came up short against the Sea Kings, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Tritons couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

San Clemente was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Corona del Mar work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-21.

Mira Costa's victory was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-2. As for San Clemente, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.

Mira Costa took their win against San Clemente in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tritons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
