Volleyball Recap: Sebeka Comes Up Short

Sebeka was the 3-0 winner over Nevis when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Tigers on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Sebeka still got an impressive performance from Emma Ness, who had 26 digs. Ness is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Sebeka's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Nevis, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sebeka will square off against New York Mills at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nevis, they will head out to challenge Blackduck at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
