Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Ferris Saxons
The Ridgeline Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ferris Saxons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ridgeline's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Tuesday, Ridgeline faced Gonzaga Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ridgeline was the victim of a tough 81-61 defeat at the hands of Gonzaga Prep. Ridgeline has not had much luck with Gonzaga Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Ridgeline had strong showings from Easton Amend, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists, and Caden Andreas, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Brayden Allen was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Ferris suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of University by a score of 56-53.
Ridgeline's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Ferris, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Ridgeline beat Ferris 68-58 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Ridgeline repeat their success, or does Ferris have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
