Soccer Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian lost against Bellarmine College Prep back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Valley Christian Warriors lost 7-1 to the Bellarmine College Prep Bells. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Warriors were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Aaron Vanderveen, who's now up to two this season.

Valley Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Bellarmine College Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-1.

Looking ahead, Valley Christian will head out to challenge Junipero Serra at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bellarmine College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Archbishop Mitty at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellarmine College Prep will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
