Soccer Recap: Oberlin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lordstown last Monday, Oberlin came back down to earth. The Phoenix came up short against the United Golden Eagles on Saturday, falling 5-0.

Oberlin's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for United, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.

Oberlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for United, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with United sitting on three straight wins and Cornerstone Christian on four.
