Baseball Recap: Bakersfield Comes Up Short

Bakersfield fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Ridgeview on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 8-4 to the Wolf Pack. The Drillers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Bakersfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Singh, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.

Bakersfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20-1. As for Ridgeview, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

While Bakersfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
