Basketball Recap: James Walker's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tennyson over San Lorenzo

Tennyson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Lorenzo Grizzlies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-45 back in January.

Tennyson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being James Walker, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Walker is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 16 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Matthew Lorje, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

Tennyson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for San Lorenzo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Tennyson has already played their next game (against Hayward), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Lorenzo has already played their next matchup, a 66-40 loss against Albany on the 1st.
