Nelson has gone a perfect 4-0 against Reynolds recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Nelson will welcome Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. Nelson has given up an average of 8.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Nelson came up short against Westview on Wednesday, falling 13-5.

Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Reynolds, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything went Nelson's way against Reynolds in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Nelson made off with a 16-6 victory. Will Nelson repeat their success, or does Reynolds has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
