Softball Recap: Wayne Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wayne can now relate to. They came up short against the Altamont Longhorns on Thursday, falling 13-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Badgers haven't been shut out since back in March.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Altamont, their victory bumped their record up to 21-8.

Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altamont, they will face off against Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 10.7 runs per game this season.
