Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cypress Creek). Everything went their way against the Oak Ridge Pioneers on Wednesday as the Cypress Creek Bears made off with a 5-1 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Oak Ridge with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lennin Martinez (2), Marlon Pertuz, Felipe Gomez, and Jorge Murillo.

Cypress Creek's victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10-1. As for Oak Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek will venture away from home to take on Timber Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Timber Creek will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cypress Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oak Ridge, they are taking a road trip to square off against Apopka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
