Volleyball Game Preview: Ector Eagles vs. Leonard Tigers

The Ector Eagles will head out to take on the Leonard Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Leonard took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Ector, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Ector got the win against Savoy by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Ector walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-3, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Leonard came up short against S & S Consolidated on Friday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 16-25, 25-20.

Ector's win bumped their record up to 19-8-1. As for Leonard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 28-5 record this season.

Ector couldn't quite get it done against Leonard in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
