Moanalua is 8-0-1 against Kalani since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Moanalua Menehune will finish 2024 at home by hosting the Kalani Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Moanalua is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Moanalua is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Castle, who was ranked fifth at the time (Moanalua was ranked eighth). Moanalua never let Castle onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Saturday. The Menehune's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Meanwhile, Kalani didn't have quite enough to beat Kalaheo on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Moanalua now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Kalani, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Moanalua beat Kalani by a goal in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 1-0. Will Moanalua repeat their success, or does Kalani have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
