Baseball Game Preview: Ogden Tigers vs. North Sanpete Hawks

The Ogden Tigers will take on the North Sanpete Hawks at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Ogden is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Ogden saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Juab by a score of 7-6.

Ogden saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Spencer Deichman, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Rodrigo Torres was another, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

North Sanpete kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Provo by a score of 2-1.

Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Sanpete, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Ogden beat North Sanpete 6-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
