Underclassman Bryce Ward came into Thursday's contest looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. On Thursday he went 7-for-11 to rack up 17 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. The effort marked the most assists he has had since back in December of 2024. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Looking ahead, Ward and Cathedral Academy will take on Andrew Jackson Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ward will face off against Gage Dicks, the Warriors' star guard.
