Jefferson is a perfect 9-0 against Monroe Area since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Dragons will be playing at home against the Purple Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Jefferson was able to grind out a solid victory over White County, taking the game 2-0. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jefferson easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15.

Jefferson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Headley led the charge by getting eight digs and three assists.

Meanwhile, Monroe Area beat Johnson 3-1 on Tuesday.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Monroe Area, their win bumped their record up to 15-27.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Jefferson has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Monroe Area struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
