Lake Norman gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 74-46 victory over the Pine Lake Prep Pride. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Braden Miller had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (seven). Austin Kopecky was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.

Lake Norman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-69 loss against Hickory Ridge on the 21st. As for Pine Lake Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-46 defeat against Cuthbertson on the 22nd.
