Volleyball Recap: Boardman's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Boardman came tearing into Tuesday's match with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Louisville Leopards. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Leopards back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 26-24, 25-22, 24-26, 15-8.

Boardman was led to victory by Sadie Satterfield and Gianna Commons. Satterfield had 20 digs and two aces, while Commons had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Satterfield has posted over her last eight matchups. Addie Rudge also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Boardman's record now sits at 19-5. As for Louisville, they dropped their record down to 14-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Boardman nor the Leopards have any future games scheduled.
