Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Orange Glen, St. Joseph Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Bayfront Charter Sharks by a score of 9-4. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Blaise McMahon, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Christian Clow was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

St. Joseph Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Bayfront Charter, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

St. Joseph Academy has already played their next game, a 21-3 loss against Tri-City Christian on the 6th. As for Bayfront Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-2 defeat against Gompers Prep Academy on the 5th.
