Basketball Recap: Parkwood Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Parkwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Anson Bearcats by a score of 56-49. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 60-34 victory back in January.

Parkwood's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Anson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Parkwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-65 victory against Monroe on the 21st. Anson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
