Recap: Cooper Bulldogs vs. Fruitvale Bobcats
The Cooper Bulldogs stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Fruitvale 61-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Cooper has posted since December 12, 2023.
It was another big night for Alfred Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Markell Smith, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Cooper is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Fruitvale, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Cooper will look to defend their home court on Friday against Como-Pickton at 8:00 p.m. As for Fruitvale, they will head out on the road to face off against Alba-Golden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
