 The Lindsay Cardinals will challenge the Rosamond Roadrunners at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Lindsay sitting on  four straight  wins and Rosamond on three.

 Meanwhile,  it may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Rosamond ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lone Pine by a score of  8-4.
  Gavin Ament made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   seven  hits (and only one walk). Ament has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Ament was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Shawn Webb was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Adrian Cruz, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Lindsay is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record  this season. As for Rosamond, they pushed their record up to 13-12 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
