Softball Recap: Osage City Takes a Loss

Osage City managed to slip by Mission Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Vikings on Friday, falling 16-6. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Osage City's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 11-8. As for Mission Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mission Valley beat Osage City by a score of 16-6 later that day.
