Baseball Recap: Chino Comes Up Short

Chino and Woodbridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chino had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Cowboys were not able to get on the board.

Chino's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Woodbridge, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.

Chino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodbridge, they will challenge Laguna Beach at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 2.9, the Breakers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
