Softball Game Preview: Columbia Crimson Tide vs. Octorara Area Braves

Columbia is 0-3 against Octorara Area since April of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide will face off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. Columbia has given up an average of 20.7 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Columbia is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 21-0 to Annville-Cleona.

Meanwhile, Octorara Area came up short against Kennard-Dale on Thursday, falling 18-1. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delaney Amole was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Octorara Area's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
