Indian Trail comes up short despite Mj Stackhouse's dominant performance

The Indian Trail Hawks pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 77-55 loss at the hands of St. Catherine's. Indian Trail was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Catherine's apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2014.

Despite the loss, Indian Trail still got an impressive performance from Mj Stackhouse, who scored 25 points. Stackhouse scored a full 45.5% of Indian Trail's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. LaVaruz Currie was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for Indian Trail and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for St. Catherine's, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Indian Trail will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Kenosha Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th. Kenosha Bradford is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. St. Catherine's will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Two Rivers at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th.
