Basketball Game Preview: Hoover Cardinals vs. Linfield Christian Lions

The Hoover Cardinals just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Linfield Christian Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Hoover will head into Friday's match hoping they have more luck than they did the last time they played San Diego: Hoover's last matchup with San Diego could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. Hoover came up short against San Diego, falling 54-33. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Linfield Christian escaped with a win on Friday against Ontario Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Hoover has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Linfield Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
