Wylie waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the North Garland Raiders by a score of 68-58. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Raiders are ranked 700th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for North Garland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
