Cal Meyers posted a new career-high in hits on Monday. He went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Centennial: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise.

Meyers' strong effort led Centennial over Champaign Central and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
