Harper came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 20-7 margin over the Center Point Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 last Tuesday.

Harper's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Center Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Harper will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against San Saba at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. The game will give San Saba their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Center Point, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-5 defeat against Junction on the 10th.
