Basketball Recap: Yoakum Takes a Loss

Yoakum lost against Tidehaven back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yoakum Bulldogs were beaten by the Tidehaven Tigers 62-29. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 869th, while the Tigers are ranked 295th).

Yoakum now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Tidehaven, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Yoakum will be playing at home against Hallettsville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tidehaven, they will venture away from home to square off against Edna at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
