Having just played yesterday, the Harmony School of Excellence Hawks will jump right back in to play the Texas Lions HomeSchool Lions at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Harmony School of Excellence has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the third.

Harmony School of Excellence's tournament run continued when they took on Pearsall on Thursday. Harmony School of Excellence was beaten by Pearsall 81-54. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1222nd, while the Mavericks are ranked 320th).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Texas Lions HomeSchool against Brazoswood on Thursday as the team secured an 86-57 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Texas Lions HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Harmony School of Excellence, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
