Evansville Central's win came from a few key players Evansville Memorial will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Daveon Smith, who posted 13 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zaryen Moore, who scored six points and six steals.
Evansville Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Evansville Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Evansville Memorial hasn't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 9.2 turnovers per game. However, it's not like Evansville Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 8.8 turnovers.
