Softball Recap: Fairfield Union Falcons vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs
Fairfield Union had lost four straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-13 to make it five. They lost 21-0 to the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
As for Bloom-Carroll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
