Summit Shasta entered their tilt with Design Tech on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 3-1. The Black Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 22-25, 25-8.

Summit Shasta got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maile Moffat out in front who had five digs and four aces. Moffat has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Tan, who had four digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Summit Shasta was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Design Tech only served four.

Summit Shasta's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Design Tech, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-7.

Summit Shasta has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Washington on the 3rd. As for Design Tech, they will take on More at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
