Basketball Recap: Hunters Lane Comes Up Short

Hunters Lane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Cane Ridge Ravens 72-20. The Warriors were probably out for revenge after losing 70-21 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Hunters Lane saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaliyah Jarrett posted 12 points.

Hunters Lane's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Cane Ridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Hunters Lane wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 84-24 loss against Hillsboro on the 31st. Cane Ridge has also already played their next contest (against McGavock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
