Camp Verde lost against Scottsdale Christian Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cowboys came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cowboys' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Page Oothoudt paced Camp Verde's offense, picking up nine kills. Oothoudt got some help from IreLinn Chavez-Flanagan and her 15 assists. Haygen Armstrong controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Weller, who had six digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Weller is now averaging an impressive 2 aces per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Howell, who had seven digs and two aces.

Camp Verde's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 27 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-6 record this season.

Camp Verde and Scottsdale Christian Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. The Cowboys (ranked 83rd) will meet Madison Highland Prep (ranked 260th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Scottsdale Christian Academy will challenge Fountain Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (44 vs. 128).
