After losing to Riley County the last time they met, Wabaunsee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chargers came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 50-42 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chargers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Davis Carson, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Kraemer, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds.

Wabaunsee's victory bumped their record up to 12-8-1. As for Riley County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabaunsee will venture away from home to square off against Solomon on Tuesday. As for Riley County, they will head out to take on Nemaha Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Thunder's rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.1 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
