Baseball Recap: Jordan Hubmen / Jaguars vs. La Crescent Lancers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mound-Westonka, Jordan was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the La Crescent Lancers out 3-2.

For La Crescent's part, Drew Peters put in work while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Peters has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Peters was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with a double.

Peters wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Alex Von Arx, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
