Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waldron). They blew past the Litchfield Terriers 22-13 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Waldron's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-15. As for Litchfield, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Coming up, Waldron will be playing in front of their home fans against Camden-Frontier at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The Redskins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.94 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. Litchfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
