Basketball Recap: Desert Comes Up Short

Desert lost against Bishop Union back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Desert Scorpions fell 71-58 to the Bishop Union Broncos. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Scorpions still had to take the loss.

Desert's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Bishop Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Desert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-32 victory against Mammoth on the 14th. As for Bishop Union, they will challenge Boron at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
