Baseball Game Preview: Buford Yellow Jackets vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

The Buford Yellow Jackets will take on the Aynor Blue Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Buford's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Archbishop Spalding hitters got past them. The Yellow Jackets lost 10-1 to the Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buford saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Mckenzie, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Aynor entered their tilt with Richlands on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged out the Blue Tornado 7-5.

Buford's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Aynor, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
