Softball Recap: Boone Has No Trouble Against Innovation

While Boone put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Innovation. The Braves blew past the Bulls 18-0. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Sarai Collazo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Solberg, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Boone was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Boone now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Innovation, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Boone didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against East River on the 2nd. As for Innovation, they have also already played their next game, a 10-1 win against DeLand on the 1st.
