Volleyball Recap: Liberty Charter Lions vs. Victory Christian Academy Knights

Liberty Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Victory Christian Academy Knights. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 19-25, 25-18.

Victory Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Esteban Torres, who had six digs and five aces. That's the most aces Torres has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Dill, who had 19 kills, four digs, three aces, and two blocks.

Liberty Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Victory Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
