Mankato East had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the New Ulm Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Mankato East's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for New Ulm, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mankato East will head out to challenge Worthington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Ulm, they will challenge Hutchinson at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
