El Dorado put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Canyon State Academy Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-35 win. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

MIkai Phipps was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 11 en route to 19 points along with eight assists and eight steals. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Brown, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

El Dorado smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

El Dorado's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.7 points. As for Canyon State Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against BASIS - Ahwatukee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon State Academy and Sequoia Charter will compete for holiday cheer at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
