Softball Recap: Custer County Comes Up Short

Custer County lost to Havre back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cowboys lost 11-1 to the Blue Ponies. The game marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Custer County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reygen Jensen, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Custer County and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Havre, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Custer County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sidney at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. Havre will be paying especially close attention to the Cowboys' matchup: after the Cowboys face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Havre again at 3:00 p.m. on the 24th.
