Preview: Hyannis Longhorns vs. Crawford Rams
Hyannis and Crawford are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Hyannis Longhorns will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Crawford Rams on January 26th.
Last Saturday, Hyannis came up short against Hemingford and fell 35-24.
Crawford posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Hemingford out 37-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Crawford.
Britney Klein was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Juhnke, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Hyannis' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Crawford, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Hyannis was dealt a bruising 54-17 loss at the hands of Crawford in their previous matchup on Wednesday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Klein, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Now that Hyannis knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
